Our History

Haiti Adventist Hospital

On February 11, 1968, the Seventh-day Adventist Church began to provide medical care to the people of Haiti through its Polyclinic, located in Diquini 63, Carrefour, Haiti. The Polyclinic was established in order meet the medical needs of the local community, and through the Lord's blessing, it grew rapidly. The staff employed in the Polyclinic realized that the needs of the community were growing, and they needed to expand to become a hospital to meet the needs. Through means that can only be credited as God's provision, adequate funds were raised to begin ground breaking of a new hospital. Thus, Haiti Adventist Hospital (HAH) was born.
